The building is located at 1320 South Wasatch Drive (1300 S & 2400 E) in Salt Lake City. Registration starts at 6:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Dear Joseph F. Smith Family Board members and Associates,
After much deliberation, and with the assistance of the voting board and associates, I have selected April Robinson, David McKell Bowen, and Lindsey Marie Bushman as the first candidates to be awarded the Joseph F. Smith Scholarship for 2011. Thank you for all your recommendations this year. As many of you stated, it was an extremely difficult decision to make with such outstanding applications. I appreciate the prayerful consideration of each candidate, and I have every confidence that we have selected three very deserving people.

The Joseph F. Smith Building on the BYU campus is completed. The dedication is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Marriott Center. It was decided that we use that venue as it will facilitate more people than the new building site. It is anticipated that the seating will fill quickly as the event is in conjunction with a regularly scheduled Campus Devotional. Parking will be available on the north side of the Marriott Center. We ask that those attending be in their seats no later than 10:50 a.m.
